Casual...Yet, Chic

Hey Curvy Fabbers! I've missed you guys! It's been about a month since my last post...what can I has been hectic! But I'm back! As we transition into Spring, and start to shed some layers, my next few posts are going to feature casual fashion perfect for that Winter/Spring temperature change.

Below is my first offering . Originally, I was going to wear a simple white tee, but as I was preparing to leave to shoot, my package with my Lane Bryant "This Body Was Made For" tee shirt arrived! I was so excited, that I grabbed it and took it along to wear. As you can see, I didn't even get a chance to write in what this body was made for! Just so you know now says "Hawt Fashion".

The jeans here are from the Torrid Premium collection. Even though they are on sale now, they are still a bit pricey, but if you recall, in my "My Favorite Jeans" post from December, I confessed to being a bit of a jeans snob. However, this style of Boyfriend Distressed Jean, can be found everywhere for much cheaper than the Torrid Premium brand. Examples are here. I recently saw a music video from Tisha Campbell, where she had chains attached to her jeans...I thought it was cute. I had an old broken body chain, so i repurposed it for this look! The blazer is fron Torrid as well. It can be found here, but similar styles can be found here and here.

Lastly, the piece that pulled this whole look together, and my current favorite thing in my closet are these Bling Sneakers from Sultry Steps! I absolutely LOVE these! Sultry Steps is an online shoe boutique, specializing in some of the most unique, exclusive footwear. Styles are limited and sell out fast, and they don't reorder very often, so you know that you aren't going to see everybody walking around in your shoes....I love the exclusivity that brings! These shoes happen to be on sale! The enitre site is 15% off thru March 31st....use promo code SPRING15 at checkout.

So, what do you think of my Casual, yet chic look? Is it a hit or miss? Sound off below!
