Year in Review.....'s more like 7 months in review! LOL

I launched Curvy Fabulosity on May 1st, 2015. I had no idea what I was doing (and I am still figuring stuff out). Honestly, I think it was a by product of a semi "Midlife Crisis" I was experiencing. The first thing that I discovered very quickly is that there are A WHOLE HELLUVA LOT of Plus Size Fashion Bloggers out here! DId I say a lot? Yea....take your definition of a lot and multiply it times 100!

Since patience is a virtue I lack, much like other things in my life, when it didn't take off right away, and brands weren't knocking down my door to work with me or my mailbox wasn't flooded with requests, I thought that maybe I should give up. However, I was fortunate to have a handful of people that followed me faithfully that really did like what I was doing. Additionally, I have met some amazing women who like me, are just starting out in blogging, and in them, I have found a much needed supprt system. This blog has also also given me the oppportunity to meet some AMAZING entrepeneurial women, that have poured into me and inspired me with their day to day hustle and tenacious grind! These sisters have all motivated me to keep it moving! As a result, I am building my brand, and redefining my niche, and creating a lane of my own. So, thank you to Kim Postell of Naturally Fashionable, Conchita E Marshall-Jamison from 2B Continued Jeans, Laila Monet from Laila Glam Cosmetics, Shavonne Dorsey from Shavonne Dorsey Designs, Latrice Mosley-Smith from The Ice Cream Lady Haute Hosiery, Tamika Maria-Price of Standout Style Boutique, Tawana Blassingame from Queen Size Magazine and DeLisa New Williams from The Hem of HIS Garment.

I wish all of you ladies your heart's desires and pray a prosperous 2016 for you all! Not to mention, some hot collabos with yours truly!

Last, but by no stretch of the imagination least, I want to take an opportunity to thank my photographer and friend, Marco Nunez of Severe Photographics. I shared my dream with you, and although you didn't "get it", you saw that I was passionate about it, and you signed on to help me. From building the site, to taking/editing the pics, to dealing with my impatient nature and navigating my mini melt downs, your support has been unwavering. For this, I thank you! Onward and upward for us both in 2016!

A HUGE thank you to everyone that has purchased a shirt, liked, commented or shared a post or a pic from this blog. Your support means the world, and has made me determined to go next level in 2016! I have so many ideas and things that I want to accomplish in the new year, I can't wait to share them with you! Stay tuned! Happy New Year Curvy Fabbers! Be Safe and Be Blessed! Now, check out some of my favorite pics from the past year....

Brand pic! My attempt to recreate a NeNe Leakes cover from Pose Magazine. Marco killed this shot!

Office Eye Candy post. Loved this look, and my blatant disregard for VBO! LOL!

I felt really High Fashion Model on this, shoes, dress! Yaaas!

This look never made it as an official blog post, but there is no denying that my contour is flawless here! (I crack me up)

This was my first real "break out" pic. It was shared numerous times, and got somewhere around 700+ likes

This pic won me the title of Full Figure Face of the Month in June

Another high fashion model moment for me. Once again, Marco killed this shoot!

Featured in my first (and currently only) magazine spread. Queen Size Magazine made me one of their featured Models in th November issue. Thanks Tawanna!

The launch of Curvy Fabulosity Apparel! Stay tuned for more in this area!

THIS PIC! Most popular to date. In addition to being my very first sponsored post, it was my first repost from Plus Model Mag on IG. It received over 1300 likes, and was shared 38 times!
