Boutique Spotlight - Stand Out Style Boutique
I met Tamika Maria Price when I attended the Shavonne Dorsey trunk at her boutique over the summer. Tamika is the owner of Stand Out Style Boutique at 1419 W Belmont in Chicago. I loved the boutique the moment I walked in. It's like the ultimate walk in closet! The antique bureau with the jewelry and the drawers that housed the scarves....the way the accessories were displayed...it was all very feminine and welcoming. Couple that with the fact that Tamika, is a total sweetheart, and you get the ultimate shopping experience. I met three amazing sisterpeneurs that day, and I vowed that I would work with all of them again. I asked Tamika before I left if it was okay if I came back with my photographer to do a post spotlighting her boutique. Keep in mind, Stand Out Style is an award winning boutique, and has been featured numerous times in various types of media, but she graciously said yes, to me and my little ol' blog! The day of the shoot was amazing, Tamika was so helpful, she's also a personal stylist, so her suggestions about how to style the looks were spot on. Everything with the exception of the shoes, can be found at Stand Out Style Boutique. I hope you enjoy, and check her out....purchase in store, or online. Tell her Jacqueline from Curvy Fabulosity sent ya!
The boutique is laid out beautifully...like the ultimate walk in closet!
This is the Geneva Dress.....I loved this so much, I took it home! This dress is amazing!
Yea, this dress had me feeling myself! Can you tell? LOL
These are the Magic Skinny Jeans (they really are magic), and the Flowy Leanne Top. The hat isn't on the site, but is available in the store, call to inquire. I loved this outfit! The jeans fit like a glove, and best of all, this required NO SHAPE WEAR!! LOL
Talk about a dress that was made for the curvy girl! This is the Mona Dress. Made from a Jersey material, it fits well, without being too constricting. It flows and moves, and is just so feminine and figure flattering! These pics do it no justice. A must see!
